4. Found gobs of useful information ... lurked.
5. Slowly started to recognize

I would be completely remiss if I did not take a moment to say thank you to all of you...but particularly to mom. Gina, you've been nothing but a delight since I first met you on Taco Tuesday several months ago! I've loved poking fun with you and going on drives and getting to hang at your house and drink all your

There is no requirement to own an s2k to be here. Never has, never will.
We can't controll that some owners feel different about this. But that's why they started their own thread.

As for differing viewpoints, I welcome them. I just needed to come here in the Corner and "scream" about it so I didn't end up giving in to the urge to in their threads to express my viewpoint.
The VAST majority of the people I have encountered on this site are welcoming and appreciative of input. It is only a small minority that seem to have the attitude which I was referring to.
Ironically, I think that attitude is as vital to the longevity of this site as any of the content or friendships that exist.
I know that when this site was first started long before I came here that it was predominantly about a car. However, it has since transcended that and is what I see as more of a gathering place for passionate people...owners and enthusiasts.
I guess the bane of any forum that does it's job too well is that everyone wants to be there and to stake their claim to it.

Ahhhhh Brunt you know its been more than several months ago I think we'll be comin up on a year this July Woooooohooooooo And your welcome to my whenever you want! I am lookin forward to hosting the next S2K Party at my house sometime this Spring maybe youll have your Miata by then so I may let you park in the driveway Okay I think this thread is gettin outa hand W/shmoozing as John calls it
