I usually ended the game when I, acting as the impartial banker, had siphoned off all the game funds into the WestSide Savings and Loan, LLC for the express purpose of purchasing land, houses, and hotels. The other players had to bail the S&L out or face a 90% loss in value of their property, and a 25% property tax every turn. The other option was just to concede their property to the S&L.

Thus, I have never lost a game of monopoly.
