Alex, I'm not a fan of FI, either. For me, the reliability issue comes into play once you start blowing engines. As for AWD... it has it's advantages and drawbacks. Yes, there is more driveline loss but with enough power you'll have quicker acceleration off the line because you have 4 wheels propelling the car (not just the 2 in the back).

 

That's true, but my dad likes to steer with the throttle - try that in an AWD and you get understeer, understeer, understeer.

 

Alex, that's what is known in the post whore community as 'LURKING'. If that is indeed what he is doing then spa is a corner lurker.
