I run autoCAD all day getting plans together for permit, unless Im in design stage, I can all day long and still finish plans

i was trained into this position. i wasn't always a SAN dude. So I'm still getting my SysAdmin salary, though I'm light years ahead of the nearest SA. It's win/win for them, they get cheap labor, and can constantly tell me to 'keep up the good work'.

The only way this company would pay me what I'm worth is if I quit, and came back some time later.

Eh, I'm willing to bet I still have it a lot worse than you.

Shitty boss who's never here and has 0 management skills

Overall boss doesn't really want to have anything to do with me, works less than 20 hours a week on a full-time salary

And add really crappy pay on top of that
