A waiver request is when you try to pick up a player after Sunday games have started. You put in your request, then you wait until Tue for it to resolve. So your priority is now 11, and mine is 3.
Let's say Shaun Alexander gets hurt, and Jamal Lewis gets hurt.
We both put in a request for Maurice Morris, then for Mike Anderson.
I have priority over you, so I get Morris then my waiver priority falls back down to 12, and everyone moves up. Then you get Mike Anderson since yours is now 10 and mine is 12. Then you fall back to 12, moving me up to 11.
Does that make sense?
