James, that'll still work... Perhaps we'll plan a northern (rather than southern) x-country trip. There is nothing more beautiful than the northern route across US/Canada in summer. It'll be too hot for the southern route, though, so you probably won't want to head to New Orleans or Grand Canyon or stuff like that.

I tried to figure out how to import his JDM S2000 into the US, but it looked prohibitive. I thought that would've been ultimately cool.

In any case, that won't stop us from finding him a killer rental!
