Actually, Sol, the XLR would be a damn fine choice for x-country trip... We'll have to look into that.
Brant, it's extremely difficult to do. The JDM cars are not NHTSA certified or EPA certified in the USA. The only way to accomplish that is to crash a bunch of cars, etc. which is obviously not doable. The way to do it is to own the car (or have a family member own it) abroad and then import it in. To do that requires dealing extensively with US customs, bonded warehouses.... It's not easy. Then finally, when you get it here, you can expect NO support from AHM or Honda dealers in general. Bottom line, it was prohibitive, Brant.
