Outer Banks, NC would be a cool idea, because to rent a house would be pretty cheap although there isn't much to do around there. Myrtle Beach, SC is awesome, but I don't really know the weather for either of these places in OCT

 

What about like Panama City Beach, Fla? It's on the Gulf, so it's warm water and warm weather and I believe it's relatively cheap, plus it would be an off time to go.

yeah, but you get a LOT in the gulf... at least when I was there.

I've hardly seen any in hte OB's and I was there alot, I did see a couple, but not many. I saw a really cute tiny one in the bar at Ocracoke Village....
