I leave for a few days and it goes from a semi-good natured case of anarchy to an outright revolution.

Seemed to me like the CornerCon location/timeframe was driven predominantly by s rather than the UK clan...though I admit that I have been trying to broaden the group to include the UK Muppets since several of us cross post in the two forums.

So, assuming there is a subset of people that a) don't really want to or b) outright refuse to go to Vegas for CornerCon, what are some reasons and what are alternate locations that can provide a similar variety of activities/accomodations/etc. for CornerCon?

 

you are wrong brant, go to page 5 of the UK CornerCon thread, it was decided there, by you and the muppets before the 2nd thread in the corner was even started, I'm not making this shit up.

and a day after the fifth of january, the vegas desicion shows up in the old cornercon thread as fact while most of us where still throwing out ideas. Many of us just caved in it seems, myself included.

But calling this a revolt and calling us restless children is a bit annoying. Considering most of the people who made it to (and made) the first one are the ones dissenting I think there is some inherent value to considering what we want to do.

for the record I don't mind going to vegas and accomodating the UK folk, I just would like the whores who are scatter brained and don't voice their opinions as strongly as others (I'm looking in your direction mikey ) to be heard.

My direction Well I have been kinda quiet on this Mainly because I didnt want to seem like a spouting that my opinion held any more merit than anyone else's.....

That being said... for personal selfish reasons I thought Vegas would be cool again for Debs and I (kinda an anniversary thing for us) when I told Debs plans were being drawn to go to Vegas again...she was bummed she was like WE DID THAT ALREADY!! Well I pegged her wrong on that one ....so my opinion is for continued discussion....like Wick I dont mind accommodating the UKers....but I really want Debs to come.

This is a tight night bunch of 's and if we are truly going to do an annual thing..I see no reason to keep having it in the same place
