Well...I had my intstruments check ride yesterday and passed. Talk about a PITA though...it lasted 6 hours. I have two more days in my terrain flight class. (Learning different maps and types of terrain flight for our combat skills flying in the next phase.)

Now I have aircraft selection on Monday, but it sound like I may be on hold for a couple weeks...not enough aircraft. It's just a matter of waiting....and finger crossing. I offically put in my preference list as follows:

1. AH-64 (Apache)
2. OH-58 (Kiowa)
3. CH-47 (Chinook)
4. UH-60 (Blackhawk)

I understand the Apache being #1... but why the Chinook over the Blackhawk?
