James, we have an expression in the US: "If you can't fix it, Duck it!" (as in duct tape). A POS like a yugo or a lada should just simply be wrapped in duct tape. probably better not to repaint it.

I agree Charlie .... I think it was a bit of an advertising gimmick for Lotus showing that they could make any car handle as well as an S2000
