It's getting on a bit now, but isn't QUITE as long in the tooth as the UH-1. Until Apache is fully operational, it doubles as the Army's light tactical troop transport and part of its anti-armour capability. And it's still the fastest helicopter in the world!

Not to mention that to get to that speed there would be a point where the rotors effectively stopped moving relative to the air flow and after that they would then effectively be moving backwards
