What's the significance of "MOSKETO" or what I'm assuming translates to "Mosquito."

charlie, i got 'em on my phone but i doubt they'll ever make it to the internet.

anyway, i've been doin great. i have an interviewed lined up with MTI, makers of the famous Z07 Vette... hopefully i can get a job, if only as a porter or somethin. it's a good steppin stone into the industry.

i had a close call just now. i was full-lock sideways coming into my neighborhood, and who do you think was sitting in the cross-traffic lane, up front? it was my dad and i almost clipped the nose of his car...! pffew!

so ya, how've you been, charlie?

Sounds good, Alex (except the near clipping of dad's car! )... Best of luck with MTI, Alex.

I've been OK. Work's improved a whole lot since the summer when I was one foot out the door of my company of 14 years. The irony is that despite enjoying my job again, we're staring at layoffs this week, and I'm really not sure what's going to happen. Aaargh!

No news on the S2000 front... Neb's in the garage for the winter. I've ordered new tires for the summer (I'm upsizing a bit), and I'm installing a subwoofer in my trunk.

thanks, and i'm glad to hear the work has improved. i remembered you telling me how you've lost the desire awhile back... but then, it's also a shame that they're laying off this week. i really hope you don't get the shaft!

as for s2000s, in case you haven't noticed in my sig, mine is now an S7000, as in 7.0L, or 427ci LS6. I dumped the first LS6 for this resleeved LS1. I had to downsize my rear wheels to 18x10.5 (vs 18x11) but i'm still using the 315/30 tires. and the only bass note i get in my car is from the exhaust note. no audio, no A/C, no trunk, no windshield washers, no seat adjustment (except fore/aft), no nothing. but hey, it's still my daily driver!

Thanks, Alex. I'm hoping for the best.

As for the S7000, I really do hope you post some pix of this beastie, Alex. I fished around a few months ago looking for your shop's website, but I couldn't find anything. So, 315/30s? Wow, does that really provide enough clearance in the wheel well?
