10. Being told to "think outside the box" when you're in a freakin' box all day long.

8. Cubicle walls do not offer much protection from any kind of gun fire.
7. That nagging feeling that if you press the right button, you'll get a piece of cheese.
6. Lack of roof rafters for the noose.

1. You can't walk out and slam the door when you quit

 

#6 is intentional. High suicide rates tend to hamper hiring of new employees.

I'm so glad I have my own office. It has a 15" ceiling and one of my walls is a window. I don't think I could take working in a cubicle after this.

 

know that I"m a consultant - i take any open seat available. sometimes i'm reduced to working in the cafe... but at least the sights are nice
