Default Top 10 Drawbacks To Cubicle

TOP TEN DRAWBACKS TO WORKING IN A CUBICLE

10. Being told to 'Think outside the Box' when you're in a @#$%?*! box all day long.

9. Not being able to check e-mail attachments without turning around to see who's behind you.

8. Fabric cubicle walls do not offer much protection from any kind of gunfire.

7. That nagging feeling that if you press the right button, you'll get a piece of cheese!

6. Lack of roof rafters for the noose.

5. The walls are too close together for the hammock to work right.

4. 23 power cords, 1 outlet.

3. Prison cells are not only bigger, they also have beds.

2. When tours come through, you get lots of peanuts thrown at you.

..... And the Number 1 Drawback to Working in a Cubicle:

1. You can't slam the door when you quit and walk out.

The number one advantage of the cubicle is it makes the employee think they actually have their own office!

i only have two cube walls. the third is a window, the other side is open to the whole room. If i wanted an office i'd have to give up my window...guess which one i choose? hint: I like to look at my car all day

That's why I negotiated working at home 2 days a week ... "Oh, darn, I have to RUN some errands, guess I'll just bust out the S2000 since it's a short trip." (It's our "low-mileage" weekend car, not a COMMUTER car ...) Problem is that in my town, all the "blue-hairs" are out during the day ... and I'm not talking the teenagers.
