Hey, I'll give England "credit" for siding with us. I think Blair felt our pain during 9/11 and cut us slack when Bush's gov't decided to kick Saddam's ass.

Some coalition.

Blair pretty much had no choice after some of the bad intell came from the UK.

I think GWB invaded largely because his nose was out of joint that his dad was/is so hated there. I think there was a statue of Saddam with his foot on the head of Bush Sr.

I have just watched the Bush/Kerry debate and would say that I agree with a lot of what Kerry said. He doesn't disagree with the removal of Saddam, or with the war itself, which I agree with, but he thinks that Bush went about it the wrong way and for the wrong reasons, which I also agree with.

One thing that worried me alot, was Bush's comment which can be para-phrased as ... I don't care about international opinion, if I think it is good for the US I will do it. Does this guy not understand anything about international politics? He is going to make the US very isolated if he gets back in to office and maintains that attitude!!

I'm always disturbed when I agree with James. So, as you can imagine, I'm very disturbed right now...
