Easy question for anyone who has a manual handy (turning off Check Engine Light)

but since you asked so nicely

1. Put key in ignition
2. Push trip reset button, continue to hold button for 10 seconds
3. Turn key to next position
4. Hold button for approx 10seconds or until light stays off

The secret is holding the reset button and turning the key to the next position. It does not sepcify that in the manual.

You don't have to hold it for the intial 10 seconds...only after you turn the key to on....
