I'm more or less over the winter hump, too... about April when I have no work again, I'll resume bitching and moaning about it... Might have to update the 'ol resume and pump a few quarters. We'll see.

(FYI, despite things settling a bit at work, I've got an interview with the SVP of engineering of a company I"m interested in on Monday. The world continues to turn!)

 

No doubt. The claw hasn't been very active of late. I used to get 2-3 cold calls a month about opportunities in the Detroit area. Those seem to have dried up.

If I could only convince myself that it was about the money, it'd be so much easier.

 

Definitely a bad sign... my most current resume (which is duplicated on Monster) is from September '02.

 

Mine was 1996. Don't feel bad.

 

Yeah... money is distinctly a low priority (as long as it's sufficient to maintain my lifestyle). Challenge, fun factors, and location are what I look at. (My current job gets a 3/10 for challenge, 9.5/10 for fun, 2/10 for location, and 5/10 for pay)
