I never really cared for it. The "new and different" kept me going for a year or so... after that it was pretty much all negative.

Such is life.

Actually... part of what changed was that I started traveling. I grew up in Wisconsin, and never left the upper midwest (WI, IL, IN, MI, OH) until I was 23. I didn't realize how much I was missing until then.

 

It's a great country out there, big guy. Don't let it pass you up. You should probably live on the left coast and the right coast too, if you get a chance.

 

Trying to head left... not an easy thing to do ( $$$$$$$$$$$$$ )

I hear ya there. I looked at moving to Chicago a while back... my options were:

1) Sell the S
2) Live in the 'hood
3) Get a 2nd job

Not good.
