I have a rant reguarding people who make accounts under some Actor or Famous Artists / Musician's Name and pretend to BE THEM

I received notice that Elon Musk had started following me
recently Jeff Bridges started following me and sent a message starting with " Hello Fan " I'm certain I've never posted any of him
outside of in the as I DO him butt don't get HOW this site would connect to instagram

guess I should just swap to Private to avoid the weird 0's

 

I switched to private ages ago and still get random messages. I'd suggest switching

 

I actually did do that too Sam a while back to avoid scammers / weirdo's but I had to open to non Private due to my wanting to share the video that Conor Daly made for me to wish @LESISMOR Happy Birthday as I wanted his instagram to see it

I had a client who was convinced she had a relationship with a famous actor through his Insta. The crap he said was unbelievable. Another one I hate is guys pretending to be military to scam you.
One strategy I have on Insta is to never like a post on an account that’s not a real life friend (especially pages with lots of followers). I’m certain people just go through the list of “likers” and send them all requests in the hopes one or two will bite.
