I raced the C championship with an Evo. Won the first 5 races, went into the 6th race (Road America, 2 laps) with an insurmountable lead. I got tagged in the first corner and ended up 6th, but I didn't think it was a big deal... turns out that to get the car (a Ferrari 246) you have to get first in all 6 races. So now I have to rerace the other 5 to reopen the last race.
Guess I won't be finishing the game.

It's not that big of a deal. You can restart races and not lose your points standing. So if you're not going to win the race, you just quit. It's stupid to even have championships if that's the way it's done, but whatever.

I played the C level endurance race. Ran a lightly modified Evo 8 GSR. 25 laps, I was leading by about 15 seconds after 15 laps, so I went in to pit. I exit the pits and get slammed by the S15 who is running 4th, which destroys my rear end. I don't know why he was over there, he was a good 2 car widths off line. I managed to get first but the damage bill was 75,000 credits.
