I have a 2+ second lead on the last lap and the 2nd place car magically catches me then plays demolition derby in the hairpin turn.

 

Late braking, bitch! Learn it!

 

 

I need to get Forza to show you how easy it is :-p

 

I haven't had any trouble with any of the other races even in that series.

 

You're obviously doing something wrong then

 

I think it is just the poor AI showing up. I take the lead easily at the start because the pole car brakes hard right at the first chicane even though he doesn't need too. On the third lap, they are catching up to me easily and end up ramming me at that hairpin turn.

On the first lap, I have had as little as a 0.4 sec lead and make the turn in front of them without incident. I've had a 1.5 second lead on them on the third lap and they still manage to ram me at that turn.

 

Poor AI? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

 

I think it is just being amplified on this particular race.

I love how the cars are very slow in the first few turns then get really fast at the end.
