geek (gēk)
n. Slang.
1.
A. A person regarded as foolish, inept, or clumsy.
B. A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.
2. A carnival performer whose show consists of bizarre acts, such as biting the head off a live chicken.
I think 1A clearly suits me.

I dunno. I think I'm a nerdy geek.
I'm not sure if there's any difference, but if we explore the issue I'll merely prove my point.

Yeah...but what 3rd party software caused the reboots on the advanced servers? Win2k as a fileserver or a print server with OEM drivers will run forever. So will NT 4.0. We had old NT 4.0 servers that only got shutdown once a year because of electrical maintenence.
It's the people that code programs that cause glitches.

Still, I don't think a properly written OS should allow poorly written third party software to bring it down.
Linux doesn't. And I don't believe MacOS X will.
