I will continue to run our business on my "toy" MAc that isn't capable of doing anything besides email and pictures

 

Yet for some strange reason I have never had any downtime from an executable file, a virus, or malware.

 

I have a great story about a bubble-sort program that I wrote for my HP-51C at the Air Force Academy that was one of the reasons I left.

Remind me to tell it to you guys over a beer sometime.

 

It's nice when no one cares about you.

I will take security through obscurity anyday over the alternative !

My first real program was a blackjack program on a TI-85 using TIBASIC. What a lousy language, but it did the trick. 3 months of algebra class I followed up with a video poker game. The hardest part of that is my long variable names all had to be shortened so the program fit in the 32k of memory.
