The Indy 500 used to be a big event for me. I'd drag the tv and stereo outside to watch the race while BBQing. Then Indy/CART split and the cars got slow.

Nice to see them approaching 230 mph. I'd like to see them approach 250.

 

check out www.a2zracer.com and read about Tony A2z's efforts at qualifying back when they still had Offy motors. They had to drive the cars back then, not just foot flat to the floor all the way 'round.

170mp would be fine with me, as long as they were having to drive. Make the tires skinnier, take away some of the aero, and give them another 200 hp. Then we'll who's really quick

 

I just like to see the cars go fast. That's why I hate NASCAR.
