I can actually agree with that. Kobe is an amazing talent. Unfortunately, he's proven himself to be a much weaker human being...

This is true.
It should be pointed out the talent pool is so watered down right now. Expansion killed the league (admittedly, by the league) Their simply isn't much superb talent in the league anymore.

Laugh all you want...I'm not comparing the sports...just the team nature.

My arguments aren't words from anyone other than myself. I've watched NBA ball (and the Lakers specifically) enough to know that I have little respect for the characters in that game.

My issue is not that they don't have talent...but that considering how much talent the Lakers employ they should ALWAYS be on their game. They have hired enough individual skill that they should NEVER lose a game for any reason on any night and shouldn't have for the last couple years. Unfortunately, they live up to their potential far too seldom, so to me they aren't worth the hype.

Maybe...just maybe...if everybody says something there might be at least a grain of truth to it...

As for watching sports for the wrong reasons...it boils down to the fact that I appreciate athletics...even sports I don't care for. Unfortunately, professional athletics has become FAR less about the sport than the compensation.

There are just far too few athletes (or athletic organizations) that are in it for the game anymore, so to me the quality of the game has deteriorated.
