I remember when I was little and we would visit my grandparents in Arcadia, my grandfather would take us to a restaurant in Pasadena that served barbeque, steaks, salads and stuff. The thing that sticks out in my childhood memory was I thought that they had sawdust on the floor. George, do you know the place I'm talking about? I think it was well known.

I was in Pasadena the other night and had a delightful meal at Noodle World, along with the best BOBA I've ever found. I love their boba in blended thai tea.

Probably Hutch's on Walnut. That's right down the street from my office.

We split a full rack of Memphis style baby back ribs, beans, and onion rings. The meat came right off the ribs. We didn't even have to pick up the bones. It was wonderful!

I think my memory is failing me. I called my mother and she seems to think they were peanut shells on the floor and that it was the Northwoods Inn. Mind you this was in the 1970's.
