True. No I'm referring to the idea of closing the curtains while accumulating more and more and more and more data. The amount of data they have already is astonishing. (5PB highly compressed as I recall).

I don't know how much that really bothers me. A lot of companies have mass amounts of data that bothers me more - Visa/MC, sprint, comcast, et al.


I think it'd bother me a lot more if they started giving up bulk data to the government when the government had no specific subpoena.
