A friend of mine bought a 348 in Hong Kong ...... it proved to be too much for him to handle even on a dry road ..... he tried nailing the throttle out of a corner before he had straightened up and ended up needing EVERY body panel of the car replaced !!!!!!

The cool thing about the 575M is that the natural tendency is to understeer (inherent due to weight, plus it was dialled in for safety purposes), so that you can be pretty stupid and still keep the car pointed forward; stability control does a great job as well, without being too obtrusive. BUT, when you want to have fun in it, it lets you. You can get the tail out whichever way you want: power-on, lift-off, snap the wheel, etc. Also, steering with the throttle is remarkably simple. The 575M in fact is more fun past the limit than the S2000. Where the S2000 will bite you in the ass before you hear the bark, with the Ferrari it first starts nibbling on your ankle.

If you want edgy, you should test drive a 360 Modena with all electronics disabled. I drove one reasonably hard through downtown Houston and it was scary, and not in the good way.
I'm not even going to try to take that off you ..... but I gave up on the alleyway months ago ... it is hard enough following what is going on in here let alone trying to follow that as well ....

I try....
