Not great value but the best price you are going to find... you could go to a regular store and get just the console and a second controller for $180. For $10 you are getting a little more. Heck you could ebay the dvd kit for $20. Or trade it in at gamestop for credit against Halo 2.

Don't forget that MS sucks! The first system I brought home did not work right out of the box. I had to exchange it for a new one.

You're also taking risk that the unit has a failed/failing DVD drive, which apparently is a common problem on well used units.

There is a market for non-working Xbox since there are a lot of people that mod them. My brother sold one on ebay that wasn't working.
