The key ingredient is a touch of nutmeg , topped with tomato sauce and grated cheese.

The mushrooms sound really good, never tried that but it does sound good.
The bacon / pancetta sounds delish. I personally think the stuffed shells taste better the next day, reheated and the shells get that crunchy touch.

It is believed that dumplings were invented by Zhang Zhongjing a Chinese medicine practitioner who lived in the Eastern Han Dynasty the second Imperial dynasty of China that lasted from 206 B.C. to 220 A.D.

You and I have a lot in common, I also believe they taste better the next day and I like the crunchy texture, exact same thing with lasagna.

If the three of us shared a Lasagna it would work out well as I like the soft middle part.

I like the middle pizza pieces however when I have pizza and hot wings with blue cheese dressing for dipping I like to dip the crust in the dipping sauce esp. after I have dipped a few wings in it and get the essence of the wings/hot sauce with the blue cheese.
