Luke, it's a somber holiday which is basically a day of reflection. Religious folks observe it as a full day in temple, doing nothing but praying for forgiveness...

You are supposed to fast for 24 hours to ask for forgiveness for your sins from the previous year, as the Jewish calendar is new again.



I usually just eat fast as Iuke said it would take me more than 24 hours to forgive for my ness
