Today after my dad took us to lunch, we stopped at Barnes & Noble and I bought the latest issue of CAR magazine. I showed him the feature on the new 360 Challenge Stradale, and he was seriously interested.
The car costs almost identical to the Aston (~$165k) but offers worlds better performance, and killer looks. As for the Ruf: If he gets the 360 CS, I couldn't really care less about the RTurbo. It stickers for $40k more, plus the cost of importation and registration.

He's going to call Ferrari of Houston today. I'll update you guys tomorrow!

He leaves for the Philippines on Wednesday, so I won't have much news in the next month or so (right before my birthday
). But if he does call FoH tomorrow, that's a very good sign.

Yeah, there's the "normal" 360 Modena, that everyone is familiar with. The 360 Challenge Stradale is a new trim, in which every feature that in no way affects performance or safety is removed.
There are actually two different Challenge Stradale models: The easy-going model with no visual clues other than Challenge wheels. The "race" version has plexiglass slide-open windows, and a snazzy center stripe.
The latter version, however, is supposedly the more hardcore car. Not that the normal 360 Modena wasn't hardcore in the first place.

BTW, the 360 Challenge does exist, but is not a production car; it's used in the one-make 360 Challenge racing series. There's also the 360 GT, which races in GT - ALMS, FIA, etc.
