We actually entered into One Lap a few years ago with the 300ZX, but couldn't get it ready in time. Serious case of reversion and valve lash.

When does One Lap run? My dad is on call year-round so it may not be that easy.



The next step is to get him to let me race it.

 

It was in late April this year, I think that's the usual time frame... Sadly a 360 CS probably wouldn't be fast enough to win.

After you twist his arm and get to drive it, if you need a 2nd driver, I'm here for ya buddy

 

I'm sure he'll let me track it - don't think he'll let me drive it on surface roads.

But ya, the Stradale doesn't have enough grunt to keep up with a Mosler or twin-turbo Viper. It would be cool to make Top 10 with a bone-stock car, though.

 

The guy that won it this year was a mostly stock Z06 with a giant bottle of nitrous... And really, it depends on the track choices. Some of the events this year favored lighter cars with gobs of grip (Evos, WRXs, etc). The only place a 360 CS really is disadvantaged is at a track like Road America.

Based on what I've read, and current trends in tracks, I suspect a west coast swing and a stop at Barber MSP in Alabama will both be in order next year... Lots of miles!
