I haven't run the T1-Ss before, but all the reviews say they're a fantastic tire...just expensive. I got around the expensive part by finding a size that was on sale for roughly half price!!

Several of the Seattle gang are running the RA-1s as their track tires at the moment and they seem to be quite happy with them.

Once my Kumho's wear out I'm planning to get RA-1's for my track wheels...

They're running them shaved for the track. For the street you can probably run them at full tread...

Well, I should have the tires next week sometime and probably the wheels a week or so after that. Once I have the tires mounted I'll put 'em on the car and start railing around town. I'll write up my impressions.

I hear the grip is high on the tires, but they have a relatively soft sidewall. I'll be intrigued to see how that combination manifests itself...

I hope they are better than my current Kumho ECSTA's, because I almost spun Guinness getting on the freeway today.

Sure got the attention of the guy behind me!

Not that the Kumho's are bad...but I'm just hoping for a little more. I think I got spoiled by driving shaved R compounds all summer...
