one thing on the rota's brant, I've read that they are a little softer than the wheels they knock off, specifically the five spoke that is a copy of the Volk, it seems on the WRX board some people complain about them bending easy. I don't know about the ones you got, but as I said before I've seen them used on miatas without incident, so it might just be the five spoke wheel, the spokes are very thin on that one.... just FYI.....

I know they're a bit softer. That's another reason I stepped back to 15s...less chance of a harsh impact that is likely to bend the wheel...

Thanks for the heads up...

I know Grassroots Motorsports has been running the Rotas on their project Miata for a bit without incident, so they can evidently handle the sort of abuse I might put them through...

good to know, like I said, the ones I hear about bending were the 5-spoke Volk copies, I don't remember seeing anything about the ones you've got. I don't know if its the same metal (probably) or if the design is thicker or thinner or what, but..... hope you have no problems with them

they are definitely a good price.... I almost got a set myself. I'm sure with that much sidewall you're gonna be fine... unless you're not.....

My biggest risk is probably curbing the wheels...and I almost never parallel park so that's less of an issue...

I used to be the master at parrallel parking. Now I suck. I'm so scared of grinding up my nice wheels....

I can still parallel park pretty well...but most of the places I go it's too darned hard to find on street parking...
