that's pretty pricey... what's wrong with S02's?

 

i really hate S02s and S03s.... they just don't feel as good as the toyos... the price above was for 255/35/18..

 

Yeah, they were only on special in the 195/50-15. That's basically about half off for that size. I got lucky.

Ideally I probably would have gone with a 205...but the 195 should be fine for my purposes...

 

i used 195 on a 16" before if my memory serves me correctly.. and it was great...

 

I'm running 205/45-16s on my current wheels. The wheels are too big/heavy for my little car so I'm stepping down in wheel size. The 195's should be ok since the new tires are supposed to be a bit grippier than the current 205 tires...

 

Basically little to no reduction in grip and less rotational mass. Seems like a good move to me...

 

205 to 195 is pretty much nothing..

 

Basically. Especially when you factor in the grip differences between tires and the fact that I have other wheels/tires for the track...
