As some of you know, a buddy of mine was kind enough to donate the low-back Recaro out of his 1973 Porsche 911S for a project of mine...a new desk chair.
Well, I've had the seat sitting in my office for a couple weeks now, but needed to fabricate a bracket to turn it into a real chair. Today we did it and here are the results!

It sits a bit higher in front than my old one, but either I'll get used to it or I can shim up the back to compensate a little bit. It's quite comfy and I love it!
I'll need to adjust it over the next couple days to make it just right, but it's SO comfy and supportive without needing armrests like my old chair had...
nice job.... looks really nice...
now the question is, when you pull up the office chair against other office chairs are you the quickest to the water cooler?
