one time we jumped my friends jeep too much and a motor mount broke. the u-joint started banging against the bottom of the car

 

My car is an old lady car ...

 

I've broken the motor mount out of the side the engine block on my Jeep before. Drove it that way for FAR too long before fixing it...

New inner CV housing on order. I am still driving to Seattle. They said the drive would be fine and I wouldn't do any more damage as long as I'm not ripping around. Parts will hopefully be in early next week.

As long as you're not hard on it, it's amazing how long a joint like that will last before hurting any other component or completely falling apart.
