At this point, I wouldn't do it... I couldn't adapt to the command and discipline. But I would have done AFROTC during college to fly straight out.

The Raptor has thrust vectoring -- variable pitch turbine exhaust nozzles. I saw the F22's public flying debut at an Edwards AFB airshow. It made its FA18 Hornet chase plane look like a beer truck.

The USAAC preceded the USAAF in spirit, though they were essentially the same organization. The USAAC became the USAAF June 1941.
