Our beloved 8 year old Great Dane, Zoe, died this afternoon around 4:45PM. She was having trouble this morning, and upon taking her to the vet, we were advised that her spleen had flipped and it would have to be removed. I had just gotten home from dropping her off at the animal hospital where she was to have surgery in the morning, when my wife told me the doctor had just called, and Zoe was gone. I realize that this doesn't mean much to those of you who don't have pets, but I felt you all should know.


She was loved and she is missed.
