Sorry to hear about your loss Zoe

Only time heals wounds like this and even then you never forget. Like someone else on this thread, my S is also named after my beloved CAT who I lost late last year.

Corey, I'm so sorry to hear about Zoe. I know this is a weird question, but how's Hank taking it?

Sorry to hear that Zoe

Great Danes are wonderful animals...my parents used to breed them and my 74 year old German Aunt won't live without one! Her current incredibly sucky and affectionate beast is "Draco"

How old was Zoe?

She was 8, at least thats what we think. With shelter dogs, it's hard to tell. We brought her home in Jan of 2000 and we believed she was 3 or 4 at the time.

Thank you all for your support and your sentiments, they mean a lot to Christa and me. It shows us how much you folks care, and how much of a family we consider you to be.

Wow, you found a great dane at a shelter?

hmmm...maybe my hopes of finding a pug in a shelter is not that far off.

Animals are part of our families and just because they're not human doesn't mean we don't grieve for them in the same way.
