First thing I'd try is using IE to get to s2ki. If that works it's something funny with firefox. If it doesn't I'd try another PC (your new laptop) and then the ISP.
I am thinking of discontinuing my ISP for a while. lots of my neighbor have wireless I can leech from.

it was the router's fault by the way. i just upgraded the firmware and things are even better than normal.
