It turned put to be more serious than I thought. A fistula and an abcess removed. Propofol put me to sleep. I have to soak in a sitzbath three times a day and after every bowel movement. I'm in a lot of pain. (Vicodin is my friend.) There's lots of bleeding, right through a thick pad and my clothes. I'm staying home in bed through at least Sunday. Recovery will take at least two weeks.

Everybody I've told this to thinks it's either really horrible or funny. Hint: it''s not funny.
