other than putt putt, ive never hit a golf ball in my life

 

I haven't played in years, used play hi-80's when I was getting good.

 

I am playing in 2 weeks time .... but it is now about 6 months since I last played !!!!

 

try six YEARS.... at least..... oof...

but I can brag my longest drive was more than 318 yards!!!! I know that because the hole was 318 yards to the green, and I went past it in the air POW!!!!

 

I don't know how long my longest drive was, but I hit a very long one on the first round that I had ever played .... It was on the 18th (par 5) the people in front had just all played their second shots when the guys I was with told me to drive ..... I did, and after a few seconds her stared yelling "FORE !!!!" the ball bounced between them and rolled a little further ....

In the clubhouse afterwars I applogised to them, and they said "Don't worry about it, if you can hit a drive that long you deserve to be amnogst the players ahead."

Well over 300 yards, and I made a birdie on that hole !!!!

i havent played in like a year though

 

I drove over 1000 non-stop miles in an Audi 5000 Diesel that had an extra fuel tank mounted in the trunk. I went from just west of the Colorado/Kansas border to well east of St. Louis in the summer of '93.


My ass print is STILL in that seat.
