I haven't been to PS in years (think 1970s) and I was too young to even know what I should expect. I remember that my grandpas Cadillac was ice cold and it was super hot outside.

PS is no big deal. The surrounding communities like Palm Desert, La Quinta, and Desert Hot Springs are more upscale. Time has sort of passed PS by. The aerial tramway to Mt. San Jacinto is cool. Huge change from low desert to Alpine forest.

Yeah think yur rite RB guess since we had never been there we wondered ??? Just drove to see how far it was from here one day & it wasn't bad maybe 1hr or a lil more The olskOOl street's Named after like Roy Rogers etc.... were fun to see

If you really want a :chuckle: we learned that Lake Elsie used to be where the movie 's would come to get away from the ness too back in the day

Tarzan's old place is up the hill across the HWY but now abandoned I like to imagine him out there on his deck doing the YELL

also Lucy & Desi have a place north of here a bit ( well the kids that now own it I mean )
