I just bought beer and macaroni and cheese

 

A hand pump for our kayak, and some knife sheaths for my birthday present

 

A haircut some groceries and some beer. I guess I better start drinking it or stop buying it

Filled up the tank of the WRX with super duper hi test as the call it.

 

I've run mine on 89 for a long time, so far it seems fine, and I never hear any pinging, but we don't push it very hard. I will run 91 once and a while, but mostly 89.

Has your shifter issue improved ?

 

Yes it is just so weird, I've driven the car a lot this week and only found it difficult to shift at one point and it only happened for a couple of shifts and to add to the 'weirdity' every once in awhile it will shift unbelievably smoothly. It would seem that it would be me causing it but I have been very conscious of how I was shifting and working the clutch. Most of the time it shifts like it should.
I run 93 or 91 in mine I thought about going with 89 today since I had a half a tank of 93 in it already and the 89 would mix with it but I just went with the 93.
I run Sunoco non-ethanol in the S that is at a different station and only comes in 91 octane.

 

I think the computer will compensate for pinging on our cars.
