I just bought a visit from the plumber and *still* don’t have hot water.

Ordered a new phone, current one is about 5 years old.

 

me too, I didn't have to buy this one, but the one we had for 6 months self-destructed, so we got a new one under warranty. The old one wasnt much stronger than cardboard, the new one is solid wood. Some beds are built so cheaply.

 

As I get older, the more firmly I hold the belief that (for several reasons) it’s much wiser to buy quality stuff that lasts longer. Of course this wasn’t easy when I was younger (and broke).

I just bought some large Halloween themed bags that will be filled with leaves. I love the two huge maple trees out front but there are SO MANY leaves every year.
