I tend to like some of the americanish Mexican Restaurants less its super tomato taste such as our Taco Tues's

Joselito's in Montrose has the best salsa I've ever tasted!

http://joselitos.com/main/

We go there with Molly and FloJo and eat outside all the time. All the people that eat there and their dogs know each other.

Homemade or restaurant style. I'm at work so I don't have the recipe with me but the one in this article is very similar to one that I make.

I also like spicy salsa, but someone brought a Mango based salsa to a party one time. It was from Whole Foods and it was EPIC good.

My sister buys chuncy salsa, but then runs it through her food processor (a blender would work too) to get smaller bits. You can also add your own fixinz if you go that route.

I've never made my own, but I've been wanting an excuse to try.

Part of what I do different is I mash the onion, cilantro, salt, garlic, lime juice, and jalapeno in a molcajete (mortar and pestel) before adding it to the food processor. I find it brightens the flavor of the salsa.
