The thick brown cloud hanging over LA is caused by human gases from huge masses of people eating refried beans, tacos, burritos etc.

I didn't make any of this up. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the book that layed the science behind all this out but it was a collection of 'incredible facts' about physics.

Since my living room is bigger than 12 x 14 x 8 ft, that would make the odds even higher wouldn't it? Reducing the chances of it happening while I am in it.....

I think I will knock out an extra wall in order to reduces the changes of sudden unexplained asphyxiation at home

My strategy exactly. On the other hand, even if the odds are once every 1 x10 to the trillion years for a 1 x 1 x 1 mile cube, probability being what it is, we could still get wasted. There is no safety in numbers.

Holy Cow!!!!!

Just think of what the heating bill would be to warm up a 1 mile x 1 mile x 1 mile room!!!!!

I think I will take my chances in a smaller room and save some money

Agreed, but also, larger room, bigger heating bills...... you have to weigh up the pros and cons of each decision......

Red Savina habanero chilis are so potent that a skilled taster can detect their presence at a concentration as small as one part in 350,000. By comparison, an average jalapeno cannot be detected at concentrations below about 1 in 4,500. This is the basis of the Scoville scale for pungency of chilis.

Tabascos are the only chilis which are juicy.

(I was noshing on chips and homemade salsa whilst reading this thread: habanero, tomatillo and orange salsa. Good, and hot!)
